Every story starts somewhere, and you have met us at an interesting point in ours.
So, like that part at the start of the episode that tells you why the main characters are in such a predicament, I want to let you know who, where and what we are up to.
Let’s keep it fresh and start in reverse order.
What are you guys up to?
Well, you are reading it.
It’s a blog. You could say travel blog. You could say a collection of articles, ramblings and half decent photography.
We aim to use this space to tell fun and interesting stories, opinions on anything and share ideas that will make you think.
We’ve been stuck inside (like the rest of the world) for these past four months. This has given us the time to start writing about the crazy shit we have been getting up to while travelling.
Where even ARE you?

Right now we are hiding out in Brighton, UK. We took a tactical retreat from South America where we were travelling for the last 5 months.
We’d been quarantining in a tiny town called Yotala, near the administrative capital Sucre. The plan had been to meet up with a friend that runs a non-profit organisation down there but then Corona hit!
It made sense to stay out there. Check out the map! It’s pretty remote.
Natural isolation is a wonderful thing, until it is forced upon you.
Really though, that tiny Bolivian town took us in during this crazy lock down. In a time when every foreigner is eyed suspiciously due to the spread of the disease, we have been made to feel welcome, safe and part of a community.
Yeah, and who are you again?

Brokepacking adventures is the idea that you don’t have to be loaded to travel well. That often, taking the slower, greener and perhaps less comfortable route will lead to adventures.
Adventures that will take you off the map.
And these unplanned, but welcome, deviations will make for the best stories. They will give you the unscripted interactions with locals and give perspectives that you wouldn’t get from the guide book.
We hope to share these perspectives on the world, rather than prescriptive travel itineraries. Not that our itineraries would be of any use anymore.
Who knows how the world will be shaped by the effects of this pandemic, but to keep you entertained and dreaming of the unknown check out our stories and be sure to leave your emails, because we have loads more coming your way.
